Fresh Strawberry Pie (Mother) Line baked pastry shell with halves of fresh strawberries. Top with the following sauce: 1 cup sugar 4 Tbsp cornstarch pinch of salt 1 cup water 1/2 small package strawberry flavored gelatin. |
| Cook sugar, water, cornstarch, and salt until thick. Add gelatin. Stir until disolved. Let cool until thick, but not set. Pour over berries. Top with whipped topping. Refrigerate. |
