Peanut Butter Cookies (Mother) 1 st. margarine 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 1/3 cup sifted flour 1 tsp. soda 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream margarine. Blend in peanut butter. Gradually blend in sugar and cream well. Beat in egg. Gradually add dry ingredients and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Press down with a fork. Bake 10-12 minutes. Bake 10-12 minutes 375 degrees. Makes about 3 dozen.
